The FDS analysis model and the Smokeview visualization program are tightly integrated into PyroSim. FDS can also be used for non-combustion simulations such as ventilation in buildings. FDS simulates fire scenarios using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) optimized for low velocity temperature dependent flows.
